Gold in Blue, written and recorded by Fish, was composed in 2016 at the end of a tumultuous relationship imbedded deeply with lessons, growth and change. In a big way, the end of this relationship is what bore the beginning of Bad Camper. “Nothing left to keep me in the comfort of my hometown combined with the passion to find some greater purpose in my life brought me to the point where the only sane option seemed to go give myself to the world.” This materialized first at the Standing Rock Reservation protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline and then cycling across North America and Western Europe. It was during these journeys that Fish finally washed away the inhibitions that were holding them back from their true calling. Starting as an unconfident singer, songwriter and human being - Fish returned from his first solo trip a changed person ready to pursue his dreams of sharing music with the world.
